I want to make sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to the basic idealism of the legion. The first thing being, the stronger we are individually, the more powerful we are as a legion.
r e l i c was created to be different from the other legions in a variety of ways. A different kind of gaming experience than the usual childishness filled ambiance.
STANDARDS
1. Adults only 18+. I am quite strict about this for a number of reasons.
2. No ignorant language. Fag, cunt, douche, gay, and the usual just unneeded overly used comments. It can slip, we are adults, but it will not be a daily way of communication.
3. Drama is a no. Yes, we will have disagreements, we won't all always get along all the time. But these will be handled in an adult manner.
4. Equality is a must. Brigade General, Officer ranks, what have you are really just abilities given due to seniority. The BG isn't some God to kiss the ass of, and the new members aren't beneath them in any way.
5. Elitest attitudes not welcome. No matter your experience or abilities, you're no more than any other brand new player behind the computer. Your study of the game will not be used to belittle others less experienced. We were all new at one time or another.
6. Legion first. If you are planning on running a dungeon, ask the others in the legion who are level appropriate, if they would like to join. Try to do things with legion mates as much as possible to keep with the idea of unity. And though I know it is not always possible, if the legion needs you, the cool kids in the group you were going to run in, can wait. If the legion mate isn't as skilled as them, well, help them become better.
7. No cliques. It's just not going to be tolerated. We're all in this together. Work it out.
8. Trolling. No childish trolling of /3 chat or in whispers to others. A playful comment with a hint of smart ass-ism is ok, but don't join in with the big time ignorant chat. Anyone caught joining in with the dead baby jokes, laughing about rape, molested children, or any other utterly tasteless content, you will be removed without question or chance.
And last but not least, though this game and people in it will test all of our patiences, we need to remember that this is a game. And it's just not worth the headache of stressing over it to the point of misery.
